Interior Designer
JW Studio International is an award winning International Design firm based in HAWAII specializing in luxury boutique interiors. The firm designs and manages large scale luxury hospitality and high-end multifamily residential projects throughout North America and Europe.
We are currently seeking a full-time interior designer with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience. Suitable candidates will be highly motivated to work in a design driven, out-of-the box; creative multi-media problem solving environment with a forward-thinking approach to design.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and passion for design conceptualization.
- Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Minimum of 4 years hi-end (hospitality preferred) design experience in an Interior Design and/or Architectural Firm.
- Proactive and able to meet project timelines and client expectation
- Proficiency in ACAD, Adobe Photoshop, Power Point, Word and Excel, sketchUp
- Highly organized
Responsibilities
- Extensive sources and resource knowledge base (domestic and international). This is a CRITICAL skill and will be discussed during the interview
- Deep Knowledge of Fabric, Furniture and Lighting
- Support design direction for all interior projects from Concept through DD, and partner with architects, collaborate with all team members to ensure design intent is carried through CDs and through all material/FF&E selections and specifications
- Write detailed specifications for all materials including FF&E, create schedules and produce specification binders
- Create and manage furniture budgets
- Manage multiple concurrent projects
- Present project aspects within team and participate in client meetings.

Intermediate Interior Architectural Designer
JW Studio International is an award winning International Design firm based in HAWAII specializing in luxury boutique interiors. The firm designs and manages large scale luxury hospitality and high-end multifamily residential projects throughout North America and Europe.
We are currently seeking a full-time creative Interior Architect with 5+ years’ experience in hospitality; 4 or 5 year Bachelor Degree in Architecture or March. High technical skills required. Registered architect a plus.
Requirements
- Provide design input in the development of the entire design concept for the assigned work, incorporating all requirement within a team working environment
- Demonstrate high proficiency in ACAD, digital modeling and rendering programs (3D Max, Rhino, SketchUp) and Photoshop
- Demonstrate proficiency of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Demonstrate proficiency in all phases of project work including preparation of conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents and supporting specifications.
- Experienced in interior architecture including millwork drawings and architectural detailing.
- Knowledge of interior architectural finishes and lighting.
